What’s Impact all about?

Impact Stands for: Individual Motivation Physical Academic Confidence Training (IMPACT)

The Impact course is an intensive 13 week training course intended for young people aged 16-18 who are not in education or employment residing in Kent and have yet to make their career choice, although some are thinking of careers in the armed forces, police, fire service, ambulance service etc., the sports and leisure industry and outward bound activities. However some young people join the programme to improve their confidence and motivation as well as their self discipline in order to improve their employability prospects many go onto further education.

The course is run by Impact Ashford and supported by a partnership of agencies that include The Learning skills council, TBG Learning and Connexions Kent and Medway, as well as charitable donations. Tutors and Instructors employed by Impact Ashford some who are from a military background deliver the programme. (Continue)
