Welcome to IMPACT, an exciting course for young people aged 16-18 years old who are not in employment or education but may be interested in a career in the uniformed public services or the sports and leisure industry. The course is divided into three sections: Academics, Physical Training and Adventure Training /Outdoor Activities. IMPACT is a non-residential course that runs for 13 weeks. IMPACT is funded through the YPLA and supported by connexions and charitable donations. More info link here! The next Impact course still has places available. You will need to attend an open day or presentation before you can apply to join the Course.

Impact have a presentation starting at 10.30am on Monday 16th January 2012 for the next course from Monday 23rd January 2012 to Friday 20th April. We will also be holding interviews for places on the next Impact course right after the presentations, so please bring proof of identity your National Insurance number and evidence of qualifications  if you have any. You don’t need qualifications to be accepted on the course. If you require further information about the course please ring us.  Look forward to seeing you there.
